As one of the Corporate IT Architects at Sibelga, my role was to design and document the Information System of Sibelga. To achieve this mission, I had to have extensive discussions with the Key Users and the Business Sponsors of the projects I was working on, as well as with the Solution Architects and Technical Experts of the products and technologies included in those projects. The Corporate IT Architect role requires a technical and functional understanding and a lot of communication.
As the .NET architect my role was to handover the applications written in the last years to an offshore team so they could support those applications. In the Energy sector, as the .NET Architect of the software factory/specific applications team, my role was to ensure the quality of the deliverables of the .NET development team and the stability of the Pegasus platform (Hybrid ESB). On top of that, I also had to review & deliver Technical Design Documents after interacting with functional analysts. I implemented some code on the server framework of Sibelga and reviewed the code written by other developers. I was the Interim Development Manager for 5 months while Sibelga was recruiting an intern for the position.
